Aggression/Horse
I was asked to see a high level competition horse that had started to rear up, buck, kick and try to throw the rider when asked to go into trot.
The horse had finished a course of medication for ulcers and was given the all clear. He was also having physiotherapy every six weeks.
The owner had been told to 'push him through it' or get rid of him.
The horse immediately selected several remedies for pain relief, then plant powders to bring itself nutritionally back into balance and a selection of emotional oils to release past traumas.
I also did a Ttouch examination on him and found him to be reactive in several areas and recommended a McTimoney Chiropractor to look at him.
The horse continued to take the physical remedies for some weeks and the chiropractor identified several areas that needed adjusting.
Two months on and the horse has stopped selecting the rememdies and is very much back on winning form with a delighted owner.

Sweet itch/pony
Red was a two year old new forest pony that had severe sweet itch. He had rubbed all but his mane and top of his tail off. He continually bit his sides and swished his tail.
He was aggressive to handle and frequently bit and barged his owner.
Red immediately selected peppermint inhaling deeply and taking it orally. He then selected remedies for inflammation and pain, also an anti-histamine to stop the itching and Neem oil which is a very good fly repellent.
His selections were mixed into a gel and applied topically. Almost immediately Red stopped swishing his tail and stood calmly. The heat started to reduce and within 24hrs there were significant signs of improvement to his skin.
He also selected plant powders to bring himself nutritionally back into balance and some emotional oils.
Red's demeanour improved straight away with him no longer bitting and barging.

Fear/yearlings
Three yearlings had been rescued from a field where they had been severely negelected. They were extremely fearful of people and very underweight.
On entering the stable the ponies hid their heads in the corner. Emotional oils were dropped onto small bundles of hay and placed on the floor near them. Immediately their nostrils started twitching and one yearly leant directly over an oil inhaling it deeply. After only a short time the ponies started to move nearer the oils inhaling them all individully. A plant powder was mixed in a bowl with a little water and placed on the floor. Very quickly the ponies were pushing each other out of the way to get to the mixture. I put some on my hand and one of them licked the mixture off my hand.
In a relatively very short space of time, just over half an hour, these frightened little ponies who could not move with fear were now happy to step forward and eat.

Aggression/Cat
Freddie could be very aggressive, biting and scratching for no apparent reason when being handled.
He had a veterinary examination and nothing was found.
Freddie was brought into my consultation room looking very anxious and worried. I started by putting four different bottles of essentail oils for emotional release on the floor so Freddie could choose which ones he wanted to go to. The main two he chose were for resentment and anger, and separation, loss, deep emotional pain and emotional exhaustion. These he inhaled very deeply and he sat still for a few moments intently thinking. I had noticed that when jumped down off the window sill that he landed very heavily on his back legs, possibly indicating that he did not want to take the full impact on his front legs. I therefore offered two oils for inflammation and pain. Freddie licked both, asking for more. It is quite unusual for a cat to lick the oils, so this may have indicated that he did have pain. I did a very gentle Ttouch examination on him and found him to be sensitive to touch in his left front leg. I recommended if possible that the cat be re-examined by a vet. The next day he was and the vet recommended an X-ray. It was discovered that Freddie had a dislocated left elbow which had fused. Unfortunately they could not operate or amputate as his right leg had weaken due to the excess strain it had been taking for so long.
He is now on daily pain relief medication and is a much happier boy!

Lack of Confidence/Dog
Border Collie rescue dog - 3yrs
Jack had been kept in one room of a house for most of his 3yrs. The owner had a mentally ill child who was said to have taken its aggression out on the dog. The dog had minimal exposure to the outside world.
A family had rescued Jack and I was called to help with its confidence and try to bring him out of himself. He was extremely submissive and clung on to me with his paws when I sat on the floor next to him. I offered essentail oils for negelect, fear, resentment, strength and courage. After inhaling deeply Jack turned his back and slept for about 10 minutes. The owner said that he never slept on the open floor; he always curled up in his bed. When he woke he walked over to their other dog and lay next to him with his paw over the other dogs paw. The owner said that both dogs had never touched and got on by ignoring each other.
I received an email that night saying that Jack was playing full on in the garden with both of the family's two dogs. Jack is now confident and happy in his new home.

Aggression/Dog
Collie Cross - 2yrs
I was ask if I could help with Ruby who was showing increasing aggression toward other dogs since ingesting, 9 months earlier, 100ml of Metcam anti-inflammatory medication (honey flavoured). This was meant for the older dog of the house.
Ruby was very ill and could have died.
I found her to be very reactive to sound and extremely anxious to touch. She immediately selected Barley Grass powder which contains all the essential vitamins and minerals to bring her body back into balance. She also selected an anti-inflammatory for the gut and inhaled deeply an anti-histamine.
After a short 'time out' she allowed me to do a very gentle Ttouch session on her body and very quickly relaxed her tense and stressed muscles, particularly in her stomach and muzzle.
We did a small amount of training and I showed her owners how to walk her in a harness so as not to influence her body language. We interacted with local dogs that she was normally reactive to and she did not react at all.
The email feedback from the client is that Ruby has not shown any signs of aggression since my visit.

Feline indoor spraying
Bengal rescue 3yrs
Poppy had been spraying indoors for two years. She had blown an electric socket and sprayed the feliaway plug in!
Bengal's are very people oriented; eager for attention. They are also very intelligent and can get bored easily.
Spraying can be medical, environmental, stress and or attention induced.
Poppy had had a veterinary examination which showed no obvious medical conditions that may have contributed to the spraying.
I offered essentail oils for urinary problems which were not selected, but she did take an oil for inflammation and soothing the gut.
She also selected an emotional oil which was for past trauma and neglect.
We discussed in detail her daily life, taking a close look at her diet and mental stimulation.
Included in my recommendations was a change of diet to one without colourants and preservatives. Being consistent each day to interact and play with her, including the children. Also to buy interactive toys, scratching posts and feeding balls, so she can self entertain.
Poppy has not sprayed since my visit.
